5 Ingredients Vegan Weed Gummies – Simple and Delicious!
I was asked a while back for a Vegan Gummy Recipe. However, I had never made Vegan Gummies. I tried several recipes and ended up going with this simple 5 ingredient recipe. If you do not infuse then it's only 3 ingredients! To aid in the absorption of THC, you should consume a fat along with eating these gummies (ex: a tbsp of peanut butter, a glass of milk or coconut milk, etc). I haven't given up on making a chewy Vegan Gummy, but wanted to release this first recipe while I continue testing.
Note: I did not add any type of Mold Inhibitor except for the lime juice which may help add a couple days in the fridge. I put half of the Gummies in the freezer as the ones in the fridge won't last longer than 1-2 weeks.
If you are not Vegan and do not have a Gelatine allergy, then I would suggest going with my standard Gummy Recipe as the chewy texture is much more desirable.
Note: if you are unsure of how to calculate dosage please check www.scientificedibles.com and use their edible calculator to figure out how much material to add for your desired potency.
The general recipe I am using is:
1 Cup of Juice (can be from blended fruit, pulp removed or from store bought juice)
2 tsp of Agar Agar (powder not flakes)
2 tbsp of a sweetener (ex: White Sugar, Honey, Agave, Maple Syrup)
1/2 tsp of Liquid Lecithin
1 – 2 tbsp of Tincture (you can use concentrate or oil in place of the tincture if you desire)
If you are making these not-infused then skip the last 2 ingredients.
